Here at San Diego Humane Society we’re working hard to avoid wasting animal lives whereas protecting our staff, volunteers and guests. Our employees and volunteers are all wearing masks and maintaining six feet aside while interacting with one another and the public. Adhering to the required insurance policies of sporting masks and social distancing is required when visiting our shelter to protect our team who’s interacting with the general public. At this time, we have closed the shelter to the general public for walk through viewing. Help provide protected refuge, medical care, and new beginnings to hundreds of animals annually.

Appointments are encouraged, although stroll-ins are accepted. There may be a wait because of social distancing requirements and masks are obligatory.
